If you owe cash to a credit score card and when you file your tax refund with immediate deposit tax return, could that credit score card firm take your tax refund from your bank account?

NO
The only way a tax refund could get intercepted is if you owe back-child support, defaulted student loans, or owe back taxes. Now, if you have given your account information to the credit card company, then yeah they can take it out of your account, but I wouldnt count on it.
In 99.99% of the cases, no. Unless you have a felony conviction against you from credit card fraud, HIGHLY unlikely. Credit card debt is UNSECURED.
It could if you’re not current on your payments. After all you directed that the money go to that account, and you know how banks and credit card companies are when it comes to money….
If the credit card company has gone to court and been awarded a judgment against you, then YES, it is possible that they can legally take funds out of your checking account.
They can’t do it on their own just because you owe them money. The court has to order it.
