Tax Refund Anticipation Loan – Consumer Advisory

This tax season 10% of Americans will let someone borrow their own money through a loan anticipation refund. Rates might be as high as 744%. Prompt payment is only your tax rebate given to you on site by your service tax preparation, usually within 1-2 days. Rather than wait until your tax return through the mail or direct deposit directly from the government some people choose to have money in their pockets immediately at great cost to themselves. Despite the length of the loan that lasts only 10 days, they cost people hundreds of dollars in some cases.
