The irs will deposit it on Jan 28 It could take a few days depending on your bank but the Irs is scheduled to deposit the first batch of refunds on the 28th

The earliest your refund will be direct deposited is January 28. Keep in mind there are a large number of returns waiting in the queue to be processed and it is entirely possible your refund will not be in the first batch.
