Query by wuangie99: In which are Federal tax refunds mailed from?
I dwell in Indiana and was asking yourself if anyone knew which IRS office would be mailing my refund? I e-filed but did not choose immediate deposit. I know there are several diverse services centers that 1 would mail their return to and they differ baccording to state and whether or not or not you are remitting a payment. I just have not been able to locate out where a checked would be mailed FROM.

All federal tax checks are sent from the Kansas Metropolis MO workplace.That is the postmark I saw when i was in California,Virginia and now Illinois.

While nearly any IRS service center or office can mail out refund checks, most of them are processed by the Philadelphia Payment Processing Center. The return address does not necessarily indicate the place that it was mailed from but the office that the IRS wants it returned to if it’s undeliverable. That would often be the service center that services your address.
